60,000 homes without power in Michigan

DETROIT (AP) — High winds have knocked out power to at least 60,000 homes and businesses in Michigan. DTE Energy says about 51,000 customers are in the dark this morning, and CMS Energy reports about 9,000 of its customers don't have electricity. High wind warnings are in effect in West Michigan as the effects of superstorm Sandy move through Michigan.
