(Cupertino, CA) -- Apple is announcing the release of two new iPhones. It confirms the rumors of the long-awaited iPhone 5C, featuring new colors. The latest and greatest phone is the iPhone 5S, introducing the new gold color. The company had previously only offered the smartphone in black or white. The 5C has a silicone rubber case which looks like plastic with a steel-reinforced inside frame. It comes in five colors and starts at 99-dollars with a two-year contract.
The 5S will also include the much-rumored fingerprint sensor. It can be used in place of a passcode which is essential to keeping phone data from prying eyes. The sensor will also allow you to log into iTunes. The 5S will start at 199-dollars. Preorders for both phones start Friday, with a launch date of September 20th.
