Economy adds 165,000 jobs in April

The nation's economy added 165,000 jobs in April, while the unemployment rate didn't budge.  The jobless rate remained at 7.5% last month.  More Americans found work in professional and business services, food and beverage services, retail, and health care.  The Labor Department reports the number of long-term unemployed, people out of work 27 weeks or longer, fell by 258,000.  That means 4.4 million people haven't worked in at least six months.
