A Louisiana judge is recalling an arrest warrant against Lil Flip. The rapper was wanted for failing to appear at a scheduled court date last month to face charges of gun and drug possession.
According to TMZ.com, Lil Flip's attorney was able to get Flip off the hook after submitting paperwork that proved the rapper had no idea he was supposed to show up in court. The judge has set a new court date for July.
Lil Flip was picked up in Mansfield, Louisiana last December after police allegedly discovered marijuana and a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle in his vehicle. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled substance.
Flip has maintained his innocence and claims he has a license to own the gun.
